The FS65 from Panasonic places a special focus on Hi-Fi audio recording. It is equipped with needle-type VU meter and separate left and right record level knobs but also independent audio transformer & high-speed active power supply. NEW high-speed switching circuit reduces switching noise. A High speed limiter improves sound rise and treble extension while Linear bandpass filter adds more clarity to sound. The FS65 features a vibration damping design with high mass side panels and insulators. The video section of the FS65 features a horizontal resolution of over 400 lines in S-VHS mode and it is equipped with Panasonics GT4w High Energy heads. For added visual comfort the VU meter and it's backlight can be turned off during video entertainment. The supplied remote control is also equipped with a jog shuttle control for accurate video frame search. An additional scanner "pen" is supplied for programming the VCR using barcodes published by TV magazines for each show.
