The D 5060 HiFi Digital Synthesizer Receiver was introduced to the German market by BASF in 1981. The amplifier section of this unit features a 60W/ch amplifier section with a so called "Heat-Pipe-System", a power amplifier cooling system that was popular during the early 80s. The radio section of the unit is a Quartz-PLL-Synthesizer construction with 6-Preset stations while the amplifier section has all electronic volume, bass, treble and balance control.
