JVC A-X9 (1979)

JVC A-X9 stereo amplifier

Brand: JVC
Model: A-X9
Year: 1979

The A-X9 is using a ultra-low distortion and high efficiency Super A circuit for the power amplifier section. Super A has A-class operation with no switching distortion, yet has power efficiency and high power comparable to B-class amplifiers, and achieves a lower distortion rate than conventional A-class amplifiers. In addition, the high level input is directly connected without passing through the preamp because of the high amplification degree, which realizes a complete DC single-amplifier configuration with no coupling capacitor from the tuner, tape and aux inputs to the speaker output.

Continuous power: 2X100W (8ohm, 10Hz to 20kHz, both channel driven)
Total Harmonic Distortion: <0.005%
Frequency Response: 5Hz-100KHz (20-20.000 Hz)
Damping factor: 200(10Hz-20kHz, 8ohm)
Dimensions (WxHxD): 450x159x424 mm
Weight: 16,6 kg
