The Philips/marantz DPM7 Digital Processing Pre-Main Amplifier Prototype is an exceptionally rare piece of Philips and Marantz digital audio history. Developed in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, and hand-built in a limited run of approximately 60 units, the DPM7 was never officially released to the market, making it one of the most sought-after Philips/Marantz prototypes ever created. Designed by the same engineering team behind the legendary Philips MFB and later DSS Digital Speakers, the DPM7 showcased an ambitious vision of digital audio years ahead of its time. The VT-1600 was a Midi-size, high-definition HQ & Hi-Fi Stereo video recorder. This multi-functional device is compactly designed and measures just 32cm wide. It's the perfect size for Hitachi's "Wing" component system (Wing AV7, AV9). When combined with the VT-TU1600, which has a built-in audio multiplex modulation/demodulation circuit, you can create programed recording of pre-set TV stations (2-week scheduling of 4 programs (repeatable daily or weekly) and simultaneous recording). When integrated into a "Wing" system it can be operated with an AV remote control. UHER HiFi Z100 (1978) | Stadium Full of Sound

 

The UHER HiFi Z100 from 1978 allowed you to assemble a stereo system into a visually and technically coordinated functional unit in a space-saving manner. The EG 750 Hi-Fi stereo tuner, VG 850 stereo integrated amplifier with a 2x60W Sinus DIN power rating, and the CG 350 stereo cassette recorder could be inserted into three compartments. Below the device compartments is another compartment where accessories or parts can be stored, such as the W 775 headphones. In the lowest part of the rack, behind a mirrored glass door, there is space for the upright storage of approximately 100 12-inch records. There are also three drawers there for storing 10 compact cassettes each. The black oak decor is coordinated with the equipment. The rack's edges are impact-protected by black, anodized aluminum profiles, giving it an elegant appearance. The finishing profile of the intermediate shelves is also made of black anodized aluminum and completely covers the gap between two pieces of equipment, so that their feet remain invisible.

The XK-700 computer controlled feather touch deck fully incorporates Sony's advanced technologies, including a dual battery mirror system. A battery mirror system that uses a single car battery to create two power sources. This unique Battery Mirror system overcomes the limitations of car batteries—single polarity and low voltage. By creating symmetrical positive and negative dual power supplies from a single battery, it becomes possible to design circuits equivalent to those used in home audio systems, doubling the dynamic range. It also features a dual-adjust head mechanism that makes the playback frequency characteristics identical in both forward and reverse directions. The dual-adjust head mechanism adjusts the head tilt to the optimal state for both normal and reverse playback, maintaining accurate azimuth at all times. SONY SL-HF1000D (1986) | Super Hi-Band - Beta Hi-Fi

 

The HF1000D combines Super Hi-Band 6.0Mhz beta-Is with Beta Hi-Fi technology in order to achieve achieve a dynamic range of 90dB. This high-band Beta Hi-Fi system aims for pure visual and pure audio. When people encounter excellent visuals and excellent sound, their eyes, ears, and hearts are filled with excitement. The HF1000D is a model that returns to the fundamentals of video production — the creation of authentic AV—and thoroughly pursues the highest quality. It features "SHB 6.0 mega-highband beta-Is", which has brought a dramatic improvement in video image quality, and Beta Hi-Fi sound. Based on this high image and sound quality, it is equipped with a variety of functions, including digital picture. In addition, a unique linear skating loading mechanism has been adopted. The amount of information that can be recorded increases, image quality inevitably improves. High-Fidelity amplifier CV 1500 RC from DUAL Germany. This was a Infrared remote controled model from the 1980 model range of this prestigious manufacturer best known for their turntables. It is a 2 x 60 watts RMS. 2 x 100 watts music power stereo integrated amplifier with "Microprocessor control". Optional manual operation with solenoid pushbuttons. Microphone input with pre-level control. Highly effective low and high filters. Mute button. Input for 2 turntables, 2 tape recorders, and tuner. Monitor for both tape inputs. Direct tape-to-tape dubbing. 4 speaker outputs. Built-in infrared receiver that offers remote control operation via the optional RC 154 transmitter. Dimensions: 440 x 150 x 360 mm (W x H x D).
