The D 3300M from Hitachi is similar in concept to the previous D5500M. This machine offers all the advantages of the ATRS (Auto Tape Response System), Direct Drive tape transport and three-head configuration at a very reasonable price. A wired remote control is available as an optional extra. An LED indicator displays the operation of the ATRS programme and a memory is provided to store the results of the tests on the user's preferred brand of tape. Additional features include: feather touch IC logic control, memory rewind, automatic rewind and play at the end of tape, fluorescent level meter with peak hold facility, line/mic. mixing, record mute, Metal tape compatibility, Unitorque Direct Drive capstan motor with 0.023% wow and flutter, double Dolby NR circuit with MPX filter and an external timer facility. Available in silver and MB (Matt Black) at an original sale price of 1698 DM in Germany.
