TELEFUNKEN magnetophon 3002 L hifi (1973)

 

The magnetophon 3002 hifi is a Stereo (4-track, 2-channel) reel to reel tape recorder introduced by Telefunken in September 1973. The 3002 is based on the M 3000 hifi model with added built-in amplifier. This built-in amplifier is specified at 20W/ch 4ohm and it can also be used independently (with the motor turned off) for external sources. The 3002 is based on a 2-motor tape transport with 3-head (HBS-hyperbolic head) configuration. This is a 3-speed machine allowing recordings to be made at 4,75/9,5 and 19cm/s speed with a frequency response of 30-20.000Hz at 19cm/s.
