The Akai Compo Fusion 1983. Latest technology and excellent sound quality with a stylish design and with many details that make operation even more pleasant and easier. For example, the front panel integrated and removable infrared remote control, with which all functions can be controlled from the comfort of your armchair. The top model in the Compo-Fusion series from Akai consists of the cassette receiver FD-7 and the fully automatic, direct-drive record player FP-7. Both are connected via a plug connection and can be fully controlled via infrared remote control. The cassette receiver FD-7, with its 2 x 45 watt sinus output power (IHF, 8 ohms, 20-20,000 Hz), is also suitable for larger rooms. The volume, balance and sound are controlled via electronic touch buttons, and the settings are easy to read on the large FLD display panel. You can also easily save your favorite station to one of the 10 station memories. In addition to the quick-reverse technology of the cassette recorder it also offers a music search function that helps you quickly find specific music tracks. It is also equipped with automatic tape type selection, the Dolby-C noise reduction system and a complex timer, to name just a few important details. The FP-7 record player (separate unit) extends at the touch of a button. The vibration-damping roller construction is not only very quiet when extending, it also suppresses annoying resonances. After pressing the phono button, the record player returns to the "rest position" and begins playing. The automatic record size detection make operating the FP-7 even easier. It was available in two versions, one with green-ish and one with blue-ish display, both in silver with some minor differences.
