Victor AX-900 (1994) | Independent Three-Block Construction

Brand: Victor (JVC)
Model: AX-900
Year: 1995

A new independent 3-block construction that embodies the idea of non-interference. For the AX-900, we first thoroughly verified the signal flow. We pursue a construction that is appropriate for the energy level of the music signal, the energy level of the interference signal, and the size of each. The AX-900 adopts a new independent 3-block construction. The preamp section, control section, and power amp section are clearly separated. The signal length inside the chassis has been reduced to only 1/3 compared to our previous model. The Super heavy, highly rigid cast iron chassis base completely eliminates vibration distortion. The chassis base is made of acoustically superior high carbon cast iron that achieves near-ideal vibration damping characteristics. In addition, parts that are sources of vibration, such as the power transformer and heat sink, are firmly fixed with through bolts. New Gm volume greatly improves the effective S/N at low volumes. Focusing on the fact that the transistor is a current amplification element, the preamplifier section performs all necessary voltage amplification. In other words, the preamp itself acts as a volume, so the more you turn down the volume, the more the residual noise will be reduced. Advanced Super A, a highly efficient A class. Victor's original Super A has evolved into an advanced Super A without relying on pure Class A operation or MOS FETs.
