The NV-V10000 features a 5 Motor mechanism with a unique large capstan Direct Drive motor. There is also a large diameter impedance roller that will absorb tape vibrations more effectively. The top panel and bottom plate of the housing have a two-layer structure made of two vibration-damping steel plates and a viscoelastic material that will reduce external vibrations. The side panel (weighing 1.2kg on each side) are made of anti-vibration alloy made of zinc and aluminum alloy with added silicone. A high precision Amorphous Pro Head will give perfect S-VHS performance combined with Hi-Fi Stereo audio. There are also separate power supplies for A/V circuits and mechanism.
