The DRS-810G adopts a horizontal tape mechanism that is considered ideal for rotating systems. It enables stable running with little rotational unevenness and achieves extremely high quality recording and playback performance. In addition the DRS-810G also features a cassette stabilizer and a CCCT (ceramic composite cassette tray). It is equipped with 3 heads (with die-cast head base), "closed loop dual capstan system" and a highly reliable computer controlled "silent mechanism". The DRS-810G is eqipped with Dobly HX Pro and Dolby B/C noise reduction.
