Finished in the elegant Urban Titanium color, this all-in-one Hi-Fi system blends naturally into contemporary interiors while delivering impressive performance. The separate-component design allows the units to be stacked vertically or horizontally, offering flexible installation without compromising its sophisticated appearance. At the heart of the SC-D6000 is a powerful 65W + 65W digital amplifier featuring 4x oversampling digital filtering and precision digital volume control for clean, detailed sound reproduction. The integrated CD player transfers audio through an optical digital link, while additional digital inputs support sources such as DAT recorders and satellite broadcasts, ensuring high-quality playback across multiple formats. A built-in FM/AM digital tuner, weekly timer and multifunction remote control complete the system's everyday convenience. The system is equipped with newly developed 23cm woofer three-way speakers featuring high-polymer injection woofers that combine low weight with exceptional rigidity for fast transient response, deep bass and remarkably clear detail. Magnetically shielded speaker cabinets make the SC-D6000 suitable for both music listening and AV applications. For cassette enthusiasts, the double auto-reverse deck offers high-speed dubbing and advanced recording functions, complemented by an edit guide that simplifies transferring CDs to tape without cutting tracks. A built-in 7-band electronic equalizer with six preset and six user-programmable memories allows listeners to tailor the sound for different music genres or listening environments, including optimized settings for car audio recordings. The Panasonic SC-D6000 was also designed as the centerpiece of a home entertainment system. Multiple video inputs and outputs, a dedicated satellite broadcasting input and integrated AV surround processing enable connection to televisions and video equipment while creating a spacious, immersive soundstage. Optional surround speakers and the matching SL-J85R fully automatic turntable further expanded the system, making the SC-D6000 one of Panasonic's most versatile and feature-rich integrated Hi-Fi systems of its era.
