AKAI CS-F330T (1981) | Remote Control System

The AKAI CS-F330T was a unique model from the 1981 range, specially created for the PRO-3033 Hi-Fi System with all components featuring a common design. This was a fully remote controlled system but on top of this the CS-F330T has it's own dedicated infrared remote control for independent use. The cassette deck recorder is built around Akai's tried and tested 2-motor mechanism featuring Sendust heads that were called by the Akai literature HD (High Density) heads. A large 12-segment LED VU meter is placed below the cassette compartment while all tape controls are associated with large illuminated symbols. Behind a flip-down panel we can find the tape selector for normal/chrome/metal tapes, Dolby B and MPX switch, coaxial record level adjustemnt, headphone output and microphone inputs. Frequency response with Metal tape is 30-18.000Hz (-20dB) and the size of the unit is 440x100x377mm.
