PIONEER SA-9800 (1979) | Fluroscan Series

Pioneer's Non-switching SA 9800 offers the efficiency found in the finest Class B amplifiers. With a distortion level found in the finest Class A. An unheard of 0.005% at 10-20.000 hertz. This level of performance is obtained by the use of RET (Ring Emitter Transistors) that greatly increase frequency response. Instead of slow-to-react VU meters that give you average readings the SA 9800 offers a Fluroscan metering system that is so fast and precise it instantaneously follows every peak in the power to make sure you're never bothered by overload or clipping distortion.
