This NEC video recorder from 1989 is capable of making video recordings in S-VHS quality with Hi-Fi Stereo sound. Additionally it features a built-in satellite tuner which requires an additional external antenna (Parabola). Satellite broadcasting can be combined with terrestrial broadcasting and schedule recording on tape. The newly developed sattelite tuner features a 8x oversampling 18-bit digital filter/18-bit twin DAC with direct digital audio output (optical/coaxial).
